No experience necessary for this workshop. Douglas Mehrens has been making his Xmas cards from encaustic/wax for over 30 years. He would love to share how easy and creative your cards can be. You will have lots of fun combining your special mementos – photos, clippings, fabric, etc with the wonderful medium of beeswax. You will make your very own personalized Christmas cards on paper. Also take home a finished 8 x 8 encaustic painting on board as a gift.
All materials are provided, except for what you choose to bring as extra embellishment. You will learn the fundamentals of working with encaustic/wax on both paper and board.
Limit is 10 students, adults 18 years and older. Perfect holiday event to share with your family or friends.
