Artist Statement:

Systemic racism and global pandemic, both aching wounds we are dealing with individually and as a society, have impacted my artwork in experiencing strife and in looking for glimmers of a silver lining- mainly the promise of a healthy, equitable tomorrow.  Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales, repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop creates them. The Fractals Series represent responses to this moment in history and look to a brightening horizon.
