Artist Statement:

As an experimental psychologist I am always interested in visual illusions. These illusions are not only visual phenomena, however, but also reflect different perspectives in the way we perceive the world personally, socially and politically. Are we going up or down? Getting better or worse?  Up or down the staircase?
