Artist Statement:

My work is influenced by aerial views and I use grids as recurring motifs. This painting represents the shift here (Toronto area) from urban to rural living. With work-at-home policies because of COVID, many families have left the city and moved into smaller towns for larger indoor and outdoor spaces.
