MICHAEL BILLIE is a Navajo encaustic artist living and teaching in Farmington, NM. Michael has been working in encaustic for a decade. He has taught workshops around the Four Corners area, and throughout New Mexico and Colorado, helping to expand creativity and awareness about the encaustic medium. Michael was the 2016 IEA La Vendeenne Award recipient for excellence in Innovation.
