JORGE LUIS BERNAL is a New Mexico-based artist who was certified as an art teacher in 1990 and has studied encaustics with artists such as Kim Bernard, Ellen Koment, Paula Roland, Lisa Pressman, Linda Benton McCloskey, Katie Dell Kaufman, Jonathon Talbot, and Gregory Wright. He has taught encaustic monotype workshops in Rockville MD, Washington DC, Santa Fe, NM at Artisans EXPO 2016 and on a regular basis at the Encaustic Art Institute in Santa Fe, NM.
