Congratulations and thank you to all of the artists who submitted work to be considered by the juror, Ruth Maude. The submissions showcased a range of approaches to the criteria set out in the Call for Art, and highlighted the artists’ technical skills in utilizing the medium of encaustic/wax. The selection process was challenging. We would like to extend a special thank you to the juror, Ruth Maude for her insight and careful consideration of the entries. The resulting show is one that well represents the varied work of the Encaustic Art Institute membership. The exhibition opens on June 5 and runs through July 17 at the Museum of Encaustic Art.
